EDU-302: Small Tool Repair Course (2-day, In-person)

Overview:
Does your company regularly use Mitutoyo micrometers but have a few out of use due to damage?  Do you have indicators that need some TLC and not sure where to start? 

Mitutoyo America is offering a two-day small tool gage maintenance and repair training.  Hosted at the Mitutoyo America Headquarters in Aurora, Illinois, the course will be taught be Mitutoyo’s very own repair specialists.  This hands-on and interactive session is designed to support technicians who are responsible for the regular maintenance, repair, and calibration of common precision measuring gages.  Mitutoyo will help participants recognize what tools and resources should be in a typical repair toolkit.  The class size will be intentionally small to ensure personalization and customed instruction to meet the needs of individual participants. 

The class will focus on the care and repair of Mitutoyo small tools including calipers (digital and dial), micrometers (digital and mechanical), indicators (digital, dial, and lever-style), and height gages (single and dual beam).  This course does not cover laser or MDH high accuracy micrometers, LH-600 or QM height gages, or non-Mitutoyo tools.

Prerequisites:

With the small size class, it is important that all students have the necessary background and training to ensure they receive the full benefit of the hands-on experience. Attendees should have general knowledge of calibration systems and experience operating various types of dimensional measuring instruments. 

Certificate: 
Participants will earn an Attendance Certificate from Mitutoyo America Corporation.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event that you are not able to attend a class for which you are registered, you can transfer your registration to another individual, or if you contact us at least one week prior to the start of class, you can receive a credit towards future class. No credit will be allowed in the case of no-shows and cancellations less than one week prior to the start of class. Payment in the form of credit card, purchase order or check must be received at least one week prior to the start of class. Same policy for credential testing, no refunds but if a person is no longer available to take testing, another person can take their place. Contact us one week prior for location testing. Course Cancellations:
Classes are subject to cancellation. Please confirm dates prior to making non-refundable travel arrangements. Most classes can be confirmed well in advance, and in all cases, we can confirm the course at two weeks prior to the start of class. Mitutoyo America is not responsible for cancelled airfares or other expenses incurred due to cancellations. If a course is cancelled, then the option of full refund of the course fee or future credit will be offered.
