Good Environment, Good People, Good Technique

Philanthropy and social responsibility were driving principles for Dr. Yehan Numata in founding Mitutoyo Corporation in 1934. Decades later, Mitutoyo America Corporation continues its philanthropic path and focus on social responsibility by contributing to many local, national and international communities and charities.

More importantly, Mitutoyo is proud our employees choose to volunteer for causes that are special to them, and as a company, we support their efforts through matching donations and supplies. Whether it’s setting up a mobile blood drive at our corporate headquarters or providing life-saving supplies to hurricane-affected areas around the world, the people who make Mitutoyo what it is culturally, socially and professionally take our guiding precepts “Sincerity, Thoughtfulness, Determined Spirit” to heart.

The goodwill of Mitutoyo’s employees have dedicated time and resources in supporting our communities. Some of the organizations we support include the Hesed House, local elementary schools, animal shelters, the Susan G. Komen foundation, Heartland Blood Center, Operation Support Our Troops and the American Red Cross. Our employees have supported these organizations by collecting food, clothing and dental supplies for local families, providing school supplies for elementary students and teachers, and delivering financial contributions to groups and communities in need of support.
