EDU-A110: Introduction to Dimensional Metrology

This course will teach the basics of the inch and metric system that are used in precision dimensional measurement.

This free online course is a collection of dimensional calibration training videos developed by the experts at Mitutoyo America.

An online test is available that covers the material found in EDU-K100. The test has around 50 multiple choice and true/false questions, covering general metrology concepts and the calibration of micrometers and calipers. 

This interactive eLearning course covers the calibration of calipers, including digital and dial models.

Calibration of outside micrometers, including mechanical, vernier, and digital models, following the American National Standard, ASME B89.1.13. Includes coverage of larger models and higher accuracy models. Does not cover specialty micrometers.
