The Mitutoyo Institute of Metrology is now offering BUNDLE packaging on select in-person seminars! Customize your training by choosing to attend a training session independently, or group together multiple training sessions for the discounted BUNDLE pricing!

EDU-101 is also available with bundles:

EDUB-101, EDUB-102, EDU-105, and EDUB-110.

EDU-101 is a one-day class for entry-level team members who need to learn the fundamentals of the steel rule, caliper, micrometer, pin gage, and gage block. Experienced users should not expect to benefit from attending unless they have a strong willingness to update foundational measurement tool habits. Through hands-on instruction, this class focuses on the tool fundamentals and only briefly introduces part-to-print inspection. Future attendees of Seminar courses such as Seminar 114 may find this class helpful if they have not been in a calibration or quality role long or have only used certain types of equipment; for example, you’ve worked with digital micrometers, but not mechanical versions.

No prior metrology or manufacturing experience is required to be successful in this class. However, participants are encouraged to complete online EDU-A110 Introduction to Dimensional Metrology and EDU-A120 Units – The Language of Measurement classes.  Both prerequisite courses are included in the cost of EDU-101.

Participants will earn an Attendance Certificate from Mitutoyo America Corporation.
