In this eLearning Course, Mitutoyo end users will be introduced to the HR-530/530L. Jump into an interactive display to navigate and learn about the different components on the hardness tester, the detailed information available within the display unit, and basic measuring procedures. New users can learn the processes of preparing a test, executing a test, and exporting your results while experienced users can dig deeper into your measured results through the various results dispays and home screen layouts.
The following topics are covered in this course:
1) Machine Overview
Get introduced to your new Hardness Tester! The HR-530 and HR-530L consist of several components that users will use to take measurements. This section will detail each piece of equipment, from the display unit to the up/down handle used to move the vertical shaft.
2) Basic Machine Operations
Once familiar with the Hardness Tester, venture into the basic machine operations of the unit. Start wtih learning how to safely power on and off the unit, before navigating the display unit settings. Understanding the Home Screen Layouts is important as it helps define and display measuring results differently, before diving into full testing sequences, and continuous testing and tolerancing results.
3) Output
Outputting data on the HR-530 is as simple as navigating to the External Output Tab. Learn how to automatically or manually output your data results through various settings.
4) Standard Accessories
Review the standard accessories available with your Hardness Tester. This can be used as a resource to replace existing components of your HR-530/530L.
5) General Maintenance
Follow along with Mitutoyo’s Field Service general maintenance tips to keep your Hardness Tester operating at peak efficiency.
A certificate of completion will be awarded to the end-user following the conclusion of the course. Users have unlimited attempts at the exam.
