Course Materials:
In this eLearning Course, Mitutoyo end users will be introduced to the HR-430MS! This manual Hardness Tester eLearning covers the HR-320MS, HR-430MR, and HR-430MS. Learn how to properly navigate the machine and user interface, taking successful and accurate measurements while outputting results properly. New users can learn the processes of preparing a test, executing a test, and exporting results while experienced users can find increased efficiency on simpler testing procedures and operations.

The following topics are covered in this course:
1) Machine Overview
Meet the HR-430! This section will detail each piece of equipment, from the machine interface to the up/down handle used to move the vertical shaft. Learn how to properly prepare for tests, and how to safely manage the weight system.

2) Machine Setup
Before beginning your hardness tests, the machine must be prepared through a few steps. Explore the setup guide for powering on/off, changing indenters, before setting test scales and tolerances for your results.

3) Basic Machine Operations
Once familiar with the Hardness Tester, venture into the basic machine operations of the unit. This section begins with measurement conversion/auto converting results, as well as various menu items for interacting with the unit. This section also covers data output for this machine.

4) Standard Accessories
Review the standard accessories available with your Hardness Tester. This can be used as a resource to replace existing components of your HR-430MR/MS.

A certificate of completion will be awarded to the end-user following the conclusion of the course.
