AURORA, IL – April 9, 2018 – Mitutoyo America Corporation is pleased to announce Aurora Mayor Richard C. Irvin plans to visit their Aurora-based manufacturing facility on Friday, April 13, 2018 to discuss community partnership, corporate responsibility and manufacturing with the largest provider of metrology solutions. The Mayor will also have an opportunity to tour the showroom, laboratory facilities, and distribution center during his visit.

Mitutoyo America Corporation has been headquartered in their newest Aurora-facility since October 2013, however, has been a part of the Aurora landscape since 1985. The three-level facility is 192,600 sq. ft. and employs 302 individuals. The company has been heavily involved in community partnerships in Aurora, including quarterly blood drives, a holiday coat drive for Manpower, the Mutual Ground toy drive and the upcoming school supply drive for Henry W. Cowherd Middle School.
