This new accessory kit will make measuring the valve seat roughness on cylinder heads as simple as roughness on a flat machined part. Numerous sized bases and guide shafts allows for a wide range of measurements on various types of engines. This fixture easily adapts to the popular Mitutoyo SJ-210/310 roughness testers making it an efficient and reliable method that rivals high-end models using expensive probes and software. The main support includes handle for easy handling and quick set-up. Set port for Surftest comes in two option angles of 30° or 45°. A base for fitting into valve ranges from φd=15-51mm or φD=21-59mm. The guide shaft for fitting into cylinder head ranges from φd=4.95-11.93mm.
