User-friendly interface with graphical views of the 3D model, measurement plan, properties and measurement program.
Rules Editor can define rules to decide the sampling method (touch trigger or scanning/speed), sampling pattern, number of measuring points, based on measured features (plane, line, circle, etc.), or tolerance characteristics (position, size, form, etc.).
Digital twin CMM configuration is created by selecting the CMM configuration from CMM System Manager in MCOSMOS metrology software.
After loading the 3D CAD model, MiCAT Planner reads all Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) data for features and GD&T characteristics, and automatically generates the appropriate measurement plan with rules defined by the user with MiCAT Planner’s Rules Editor. For CAD models without PMI, MICAT Planner’s GD&T wizard allows the user to quickly add the required features and characteristics.
Properties enable users to set parameters for features and characteristics individually using graphical selection tools.
